Hi there! Happy fall to all of you. For many months I've been planning The Third Annual Halloween Mikestravaganza, and I'm happy to announce that I'm letting the world know about it. If you're reading this, you may know me, or you may not. Regardless, if you're like to attend, you're invited to the event, which will take place October 26th, 2002 at 8 PM. Some basic information:

Costumes are required. The more creative, the better. There will likely be prizes for the best costumes in various categories. Chris Clark won a bottle of tequila for his "Han Solo in carbonite" costume last year. This year's prizes may include salt.

Feel free to bring a guest/date/friend along with you, as long as I know they're coming. I'm aiming to have 50+ people at this event, so if you have cute, single female friends, feel free to let me know, and bring them along!

This event will have alcoholic beverages provided. I ask only that you party responsibly. We can't serve you if you're under 21.

Snacks and appetizers will be available, but dinner will not be served. A sign up list for folks wishing to bring a dish to share will be available next week from those who RSVP.

While this is not exclusively an adult party, it won't exactly be for kids. Please clear your guests with me if they're under 18.

If you know of other people that we both know who you think should be invited, drop me a line with their email address. Like I stated above, I'm looking for a great turnout this year.

The event will be webcast to insignifica.org, and all guests will receive a CD with a collection of pictures from the party.

There's really no space to crash at my home for those who drink too much. Therefore, bring a designated driver, be responsible and/or get a hotel if you have a long distance to drive. I wish I could put up everyone, but I simply don't have the room for more than one or two. (if you're coming from out of town, you get first rights on the spaces available here - we really want everyone to come!)
